Maybe this time?
Here I am again attempting to promote my products to try and make some money on the side. Am I just hyperfixating again? Probably. I guess I can try to keep track with blog posts and see how often I actually post things in here. The site hasn’t fully been published as I type this. I’m still on the fence going back and forth if I’m actually going to go through with paying for this to try and advertise my products and make it easier for people to buy from me. I’ve tried Etsy but have only sold to a few people online I shamelessly advertised to.
I go through splurts where I crochet a bunch, and other times I literally come home from work and just rot on TikTok all night until its time for bed just to repeat the process the next day. When I do manage to crochet a bunch at one time then I end up getting bad hand cramps and wrist pains so it’s difficult to keep up with. These people with massive inventories, or the ones who are crocheting live every day on TikTok, more power to yall, I have no idea how you do it.
It wasn’t until Vince (knotbadami) returned from his hiatus and started streaming on Twitch that I thought about trying to take my crochet business seriously again. I’m very thankful to Vince and his live co-working streams for helping me to stay motivated.
Currently I’m struggling to make an octopus and it’s been frustrating me, making me rethink my decision, so I’m thinking of taking a break from it to pop out a few small amigurumi to list on this site. I’m not one to have a bunch of projects left unfinished. I have to finish one before I start another, so maybe I need to change how I work.
Anyway, I’m literally blogging while I’m at work. Just rambling on to be able to have one blog post here to see how it will even look with the site. Lets hope I actually keep up with everything this time. I need people to keep me accountable! I’ll be starting a newsletter eventually, so maybe that will help me to stay focused and in a routine.
If you’re reading this then that means I took a leap of faith and published this website. Wish me luck!
